The Athletes Village, Catering and Transport

The Games Village for the IBSA Games 2023 is based at the Vale, the University of Birmingham, which will also be the Athletes Village for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, and will attract over 18,000 bed nights throughout the event. The Visually Impaired community in Britain has over 2 million registered citizens, with 30,000 in Birmingham alone including 64 Visually Impaired students at Birmingham University.

The games official ports of entry are Birmingham International Airport (BHX) and Birmingham New Street Station. Birmingham International has over 150 direct destinations including, Australia, China, India, and North/South America. Birmingham New Street is one of the largest train stations in the country, and only 90 minutes by train from London. The games campus, is based at the University of Birmingham Campus, including the Games Village.

 Daily Athlete Charges to Attend the Games

Participants will need to attend the Games for a minimum of 6 days.

Daily charges will include full board, accommodation, accreditation, and any transport requirements.
